Discover Community Opportunities with POINT
POINT connects local volunteers with nearby organizations in need, making it easy to give back to your community.
POINT is an application designed to facilitate volunteering for a variety of causes. It serves as a launching point for individuals looking to make a positive impact.
How does POINT work?
Follow causes and find nonprofits
POINT offers 20 cause categories, including poverty, education, homelessness, and climate, among others. Users have the option to follow one or multiple causes. By doing so, they will receive updates on local volunteer opportunities related to their chosen causes directly on their feed. Additionally, users can explore all the local nonprofits that are actively involved in addressing a particular cause.
Volunteer at events
The volunteer feed on POINT is personalized according to the causes users follow. Moreover, users can filter events based on their availability. If they come across an event that interests them, they can simply tap "go" and attend. POINT provides all the necessary information about the event within the app prior to attendance.
Meet new people
Before volunteering, users can see who else is attending in order to ensure they won't be alone. This presents a great opportunity to meet new people from the community or even invite friends to join along. Sometimes it's refreshing to shake things up!
In addition to the POINT app, nonprofits and other organizations have access to the POINT dashboard. This platform allows them to post events and manage volunteers efficiently.
